That's Why Comments

Sheldon I understand how the narrator feel when 'over protecting' someone you love (line 1) . The 'hurts become facts'-for sure.when it's found out that the one loved is someone else (line 5 &6) This happened to me many years ago-but I got over it and good thing I did because, there were other hurts waiting around the bend. But I was able to deal with only them because unlike the narrator, I didn't put my life in a shelf...things have a short shelf -life. I like your poem and give it a 10...but the vote does not register.
