That's Me There By Gio Masserati

That's Me There

stranded
lost
afraid
a woman trapped
in the chambers
of a child's fear

they call me humble
they call me brave
they call me good
wholesome
tamed

never aging heart
growing days of wisdom
master of composure
graceful all the way

slain in mercies overflowing
Glory be the Lamb
step into the light
from heaven's darkness
there you'll find a crown

unravelled traumas
lurk nearby
a ptsd unkind
hiding light reveals
leaving more
than wounds deep scarring
wonder meant to steal

look inside mine eyes of wide
with painful flecks of marring
will you reach her
that's me there
fore nightfall brings her mourning
