That Friend Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

That Friend

You
step
into a
discovery
of this empty
yet beautiful room.
The owner; that holder
of all doors clothed in silent
whispers, softly beckons to you
why not, come on in? As you, are
a fashionable woman; a superpower
anywhere. Pure and capable of purifying the
future; in peace, at ease, of that mindset's
views, and thoughts, and spaces. You
bring with you, a visitor, who is
capable of creating peace and
equality; one who has praise
for you, for that thirsting
you, the needful you, for
the soul of you; and this
visitor points at you; to
call you, that friend.
