Life is a journey and we all collect some memories to cherish while relaxing and this poem is nicely done to recall those gone by moments. I enjoyed it.10+++
When rain is gone and sky gets clear, When night turns deeper and silence creeps, I transverse back to that dusky eve, To retrieve those moments, I sadly cherish! - - - - - A poignantly beautiful write..Wow- -how we cherish those lovely moments when love speaks and nature affirms ! ! ! !
The vow, the life, the parting and the memories are beautifully poetised in fascinating words
The memories of the past in a dusty evening has been astutely and hauntingly inscribe here. It was a moment that rain had gone and dusk had fallen, birds had roosted and their chirping stilled, sky had cleared and the lone clouds trailed when she held him close and whispered in his ear. The last stanza is much impressive. A beautiful poem shard amazingly.10
A well-rhymed, meticulously written song of a poem of infectious nostalgia. Great work. And welcome back. We missed you for a while. (10)
Glad you liked one of my favourite poems.... Somehow I feel a little exhausted of poetry. Now my interest is shifted to painting! I cannot entertain more than one passion at a time.... So taking another break from poem hunter!

A lovely write, I like to remain in past and I like poems that have emotional memories of the past.
Thank you Khairul for the observation and the beautiful comment! Though it is pure imagination, That Dusky Eve is one of my personal favourites too!
'With hopes galore and dreams anew, On we walked to the edge of the world, A pair of dots merging in infinite space.' A fantastic poetic expression! The last stanza that speaks of retrieving sadly cherished memories, leaves an impression in the readers' minds as well.
Tears came readily to my eyes reading your beautiful poem. The poem fills a lifetime of memories. A wonderful poem dear Valsa. Thank you for commenting on my poem.
