That Child In The Corner Poem by Fading Heart

That Child In The Corner

Help is what i have been saying for the last 6 years
Please i am only 7 years
I have no merories that would brighten my day none from the past
In the cold a lay and my heart is warm
I must stay here or else that man will come
He always gets his way.
But he says i ruin his day

I am but a slave in my daddies arm
To afraid to tell daddy what he does to me is wrong
To ashamed to mummy all i cause do was cry for so long

If a letter was on your rail
Would you carry it out and put it back in the mail.
Or
Would you look at it
Just for a bit
To think of your childhood

Do you remember the barbies you played with
And the action man that married barbies.
The baby born with the clothes and the bottle

Did you see me i would have been the mourner
Did you see me
I was
That child in the corner.
