As an expression of despair this poem is self fulfilling.you identify your subject as frustration, which falls far short of despair.. Other details fall short of despair: ALL I SEE IS TRAGEDY AND LIES. For me the word TRAGEDY refers the Human Condition and confronting it is noble, not despairing.And you have seen the lies for what are: you have not been duped. What if before the gales drown you, a saving remnant of citizens restores the sharing and hope that fill the rooms again. Then instead of the World as a malign Horde closing in on you, it will be restored citizens summoning you. I don't want you to drown.
