Hi Diedre Angel - Its lovely to find such a lovely spiritual lady in the lovely PH Family. I am honored to be the first to comment on your THANKSGIVING POEM. I was in Atlanta GA for thanksgiving in 2002 and it was lovely. There were about 20 of us in my Friend's Family and it was just as you describe it. I am sending it to my friends in the US as a Thanksgiving Greeting. I love the structure of the poem - Four Quatrains - consistent a a b b rhyming and the poetic freedom to alow some lines (L 4 V 3) to go on and on and on and on. You are so so lovely! V 1 Gives thanks to the Lord - V 2 Reminds us of the History - V 3 Is all about food and fun - V 4 Is about family cohesion and the last line brings us not down to Earth but (Praise the Lord) up to Heaven! I have scored you a MAX. Love you in Poetry - JOHN.
John, in the last few years, I have hardly gotten on PH and I just saw this comment from seven years ago! No matter how long ago it was, I truly appreciate it! Happy Thanksgiving! !
