no balance there is in demand and receiving untouched everywhere half filling up the gap of life half breathing with full of two hands broken the flaring eyeball smiling yet on the gift of parents at end of note no one becomes eternal a drop of tears writes all as the thanksgiving ink thanks all of you o dear.........

This must have been haunting her all life long. The shortest poem I ever read that had been a Modern Poem Of The Day. Also the saddest poem a great poetess ever wrote. This is a very excellently composed poem. My hats off for the great poetess.

When a parent forces a child to write a thank you note, this proves the parent should read it before sending it. Children tend to be so truthful it hurts.

A gift is to be valued not by its worth but by the feelings and emotions attached to it. Nice poem.
