Thank You For This Day Comments

I wrote a comment on this poem but the codes failed, so I'll try again. Here goes - I too wrote Thank You notes as a child, under my Mom's helpful gaze. It provided a good lesson in gratitude and gave us writing experience.Your poem approaches the task almost like a recipe for proper behavior. It's a charming memory preserved in verse. BTW I immediately posted a bio after reading your comment, but I forgot about space limitations and only had room up to my 16th year, which leaves 51 years unaccounted for! . I'll revise it later.
