Thank You Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Thank You

Rating: 5.0

If only to thank you
For your soulful smile
That brightens my day
And awakens me
If only to see your blindness
And wake up to His sunlight
That feeds us with life
And reminds us of death
If only to hear your deafness
In a cellar full of immense sound
And arise to the nightingale
Singing the song of freedom
If only to say I love you
For being truly human
Opening your heart
In moments of despair
