Thank You.... (2)

On the eve of his birthday I muse on him,
all the applause goes to him when he was alive, he deserved it so true,
I remember his absolute talents, a great gift from God,
he could very well imitate Charlie Chaplin and really look like him,
did exactly what Charlie did, so his show and his pseudonym was Charlie Chan,
also the main character in his weekly series in Star Weekly, the most widely read weekly magazine, in which he captivates readers for years,
every weekend again,
on this eve of his birthday I want to remember and thank him for all his love, his great compassion, his intense attention, his talent for the language and other difficult languages, such as Japanese and Chinese, in addition to the other better known languages, Dutch, Indonesian, French, German, English, Malay and the Jakartan dialect, are great cartoons, watercolors,
in addition to the position of manager of the standard vacuum oil company at Medan Merdeka Selatan 18 in Jakarta, a great manager, a loving husband and a very caring father,
so many things to praise him,
but the reality is,
he has been lying there for years, peacefully in his cool grave, every year a thick bunch of red roses from his still existing fans,
thank you dear Daddy, sleep well....

your loving daughter

Liked the simple title of this poem. Gratefulness has been the core of this marvelous write. Yes, there are so many things to thank for bringing you in this world. The care, love and wisdom he imparted will always be a part of your being. His wonderful attributes as a person formed part of your personality and character. Indeed, you are lucky for having him and of course He was lucky too
