Tertiary Life Poem by Wolf the poet

Tertiary Life

Growing up is truly a process
life for sure has no recess
we should take a step back to assess
assess the situation before we make a mess
nature taught us humans not to settle for less

i take pride to be alive
life yes is full of ups and downs
painful and competitive as it is we should survive
as the law of the jungle dictates survival is for the fittest
so yeah survival in order to thrive should be the key factor

i came across this awesome word called learning
it is not just a word as it eventually leads to earning
the world right now as we know it we worship hail Mary to money
a metaphor of course but at the same time the truth
the undeniable truth we should embrace

from the first grade to the tertiary level
the experiences along the way we ought to marvel
as they shape us not only brain-wise but also ways of dealing with various obstacles
so life is not all rainbows and unicorns

we open wide our eyes
and that is the time you will realize
that people and the world are so full of lies
they manifest and feed off from you like lice
you only have yourself and yourself alone

during the magnificent campus days
ones life was indeed at the palm of their hands
you control it however you see fit
but reality eventually will take its toll
that day the villagers will ask about your graduation

allow me quote the saying
whatever you sow you will eventually rip
employment is another form of slavery
it always bring out the worst in people
everyone fights for power and favors
degrading their thoughts to greed which increases their need

i am running out of ink
my message to the world
we only have a chance to live once
let us make every second and minute count
you never know when you will take your last breath
live, laugh and enjoy before you deploy to the abyss
