When first lit the room is cold, the fire it burns ferocious after a while, it burns more steadily, not so precocious for many years, the room is warm, a tender loving glow then the embers burn away, then its time to go

Each stanza is a little piece of the puzzle that shouldn't be a puzzle to any of us. The analogy to fire and flame and spark is so rich and it lends such meaning to the message. Talk about identifying with this, I for one.... Hxx
