Ten Angels Of Toronto Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Ten Angels Of Toronto

Rating: 5.0

G-d, I see a halo glowing
As it surrounds the CN Tower
It's the light of ten souls whom perished
While they are wrapping their arms
Around the city of Toronto
Like a big, comforting embrace
They are telling us they are well
Though, we still continue
To mourn them two years later
But tonight, the light will be brighter
As the moon glows through the night
And the stars with the energy of a smile will
Burst into the neon realm of their love
Making us remember to never let it happen
Again
