Esther, you explore a plethora of interesting time-related issues here. I like important deadline, not trivial. They excite me as well as terrifying me. But I also relish timelessness. Not aimlessly 'hanging out' but blissing out listening to Bach or 'wasting time' on this mad site. And your last stanza Ahhhhh! That I like! love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You can write to a plan And make it all scan But while the critics whinge and fester I'll just enjoy a poem from Esther. Hugs Anna xxx

Tempest Fugit, let’s try and find some beautiful moments Quote: I love dead-lines, I especially like the whooshing! Sound they make as they fly by A great piece from you again Oh one more thing- Don't worry about the beats so much as the bars that could contain you If poetry is not a free bird then it is a battery hen Love Duncan X

Having just retired Esther, it is bliss not to watch the clock. Trouble is it takes the body a long time to stop working like clockwork after so many years clock watching. Great write. Love Ernestine XXX
