I was drawn to this poem because of the word for its location was so unusual to my English-speaking mind. But what I found in the poem was an amazing encounter with silence and truth. In this very plain, undecorated temple you found the very emptiness suffused with spirituality. There is an exchange going on in this poem between the purity of the place and an answering purity in you. And your fulfillment of your spiritual goal spills over the poem and touches me. (My poem BETWEEN STONE AND STARS is about my visit to a church I knew as a child but had not been inside for some 25 years. Like yours, it is about spiritual fulfillment.)
Truth shines with silence and purity in pure temple of heaven and in a pure spiritual mind. Wonderful feeling is shared in this poem with definite purpose. An interesting and expressive poem is shared here. Temple in Prepolovinkino remains in memory.10
