We have seen the Hindi film Kal Aaj Kal' (yesterday, today, tomorrow) . There is a generation gap always between one generation and the other. Family tradition or culture, Parentage, Upbringing, Education, Environmental influence, etc., these things mould the behaviour of any individual.
