Tell Me Of Sadness And Love Poem by Bernard Kennedy

Tell Me Of Sadness And Love

These two are twins, in winter and summer, even spring.
For I am who I am. Not what.
And love opens the magnet of love
So when you are away my sadness grows
and here does love enlarge.
And real pain is loss of love
Where art thou, now, my heart
will mirror and search this.
For presence is loves embrace
and absence the loss of one's
who, love and absence,
Sadness and love,
The Gemini of the heart.
