This is what I love about great poetry. Summarizing so much and so well, what could be in prose a multitude of pages. This poem is a Knock Out, so well and clearly written. The Truth comes thru beautifully. Congratulations! PS Consolation and good example: At least if we have lousy politicians, we also have some very good poets.

Great poem! We definitely cannot afford any one-time senators at this stage in the election process, actually never, because we need strong candidates with conviction and the mind to go against those who have been established for so many years. Loved this poem! 10++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
