Very true. The power to create developed through scientific and technological means has inflated the ego of human beings. He has even forgotten the supremacy of the creator, may it be God or mother nature and has started to act like God himself. In the pursuit of power, financial, political or otherwise, he has forgotten that the main objective of any man must be to understand the rhythm of life and to be in resonance with it. This can be accomplished only through unconditional faith in Him. Regards.
