Delightful! I can feel the luxurious quietness of the morning... and see the soft graying dawn in my mind’s eye... a special time of day for me... after all of the late night revelers have closed their doors and gone to sleep, and before the early morning risers have killed the quiet... the world is new and belongs to promise.

I just took a second tea spoon and found it sweeter than the first!

A well painted word canvas of enlarging colours and images and possibilities. Measuring the morning in ever so even but tiny amounts to savour its rarity. Better than the sad use of coffee spoons in TS Elliot's Prufrock

The first and the last stanzas are simply fabulous! 'So I sit, and sip, and measure... my teaspoon thoughts' The poem ends with these amazing words, there couldn't be a better way of describing the 'teaspoon thoughts'.
