Verse 1
Finding myself lost and hopeless
Richie the trick is to never lose your focus
It's just with all this hocus pocus
Sometimes I just feel the pain buried deep
Within my soul with all these emotions that
I bury deep within the soil
All these feelings planted deep within my
Symmetry while branching out their history
Just the pain of my misery
If only you could really feel me
No doubt I'm in need of healing

With eyes from me to you
You catch me looking back at you
Teary-eyed just literally broken
Up inside just wondering why
Do we have to say goodbye
I've heard that there'll always
Come a time when we have to
Spread our wings and fly
As candle-lighting embers
Begins to ignite but
All troubles aside no doubt
Friend you'll carry that
Petal high as it begins taking
Flight spreading its wings
Beyond the azure skies
Within the moonlight
Oh wasn't it a pretty sight

Verse 2
Tears begins to flow across my face
Niagara falls slowly taking place
While sadness begins chipping away
At pieces of me as they try to navigate
Their way through internal
Passage-ways someone once told
Me to jump' go ahead Richie and
Take that leap of faith'
I hear myself screaming with no-
Escape as I leave everything within
The hands of fate
One moment we're here then
We're gone within the wind so many
Things boiling from within my skin
Sometimes life never made any sense
Grabbing my pen as I reminisce

Verse 3
I saw a picture of my past friends
And somebody that I use to know
Isn't that how the story always goes
Flashing back to a time that we
Thought were timeless at least in
My head that's how I would define it
While keeping our memories sublime
With extreme kindness
I still can't believe it was all just a
Couple years ago
Oh how much I loved you all so
It only gets harder to let them go

Thinking back at the yesteryears
Curling up inside a crystal ball
I become too weak to even crawl
While staring up at these empty walls
I sometimes find myself walking through
These lonely halls emotions bubbling
Up from deep inside when I envision
Memories of you and I
I guess it happens to me every-time
Look I'm sorry I...…that's all I could
Muster up when I begin to try to mend
Up the fences please tell me are there
Any ways to amend this
So many times people are too quick to
Burn their bridges but when that
Happens tell me then what do we have left
With limping hearts and their appendages
