Teary War Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

Teary War

Torture on innocence; common people
Who need pleasurable peace forever;
The pride of power demolishes dreams
Self-important ruler continues to endeavour.
Beastly activities; heaps of conceit
Not diplomatic but the cruel appeal;
His tactful mentality for aggression
To count lifeless bodies in the wheel.
Comparison to small worms and flies
Seems people have little importance;
The ruler thinks them well meaning
Loves to root out all what he wants.
Valuable lives dwelling in skyscrapers
Go to the unknown valley in a moment;
The haunted houses weep helplessly
Go showing bomb affected pitiful lament.
The ruler whether winner or defeater
Firing soul binds him in his own conceit;
Heads vilification for racial genocide
Leaving the seed to sprout for repeat.
