Even if our hearts were as strong as a storm, we'd still feel a little bit sad
Knowing that we've lost our grandfather, our friend, our dad.
For so many years, we've felt their presence
In so many ways, we've felt complete,

Wow.....Im in school at the moment and i finished reading this and began to cry a little. I have a friend, my gradn father, and my dad....This is a touching poem. Very emotional.
interesting...well said. 'Knowing that we've lost our grandfather, our friend, our dad. For so many years, we've felt their presence In so many ways, we've felt complete, But truly, even if we deny - We sometimes skip a heartbeat.' You stated it with such understanding... For those of us who have lost it all, this poem means much. well written.
It is touches every heart.Your poems is very spanteous with raw emotion............. It appealed my heart............Great job!
I like the introduction, brings back alot of nostalgia with my grandmother who died
Nice... but I do agree with Chantelle Ribeiro. It sounds more of a confession or a conversation with a departed soul. But very well done(:
yes, I find this correct, our lives are filled with loss, but and we try to dwell on the good but it is sometimes tainted by the bad memories. Thankyou for sharing this part of your heart. This is something that helped me get out a bit of my own simular feelings.
Very touching. I think that many of us can relate to the things that we wish we could take back.
maahallah so deep n so touchable poem, i like u way of writing, ur great, Allah bless u
A heart-felt piece of work about moving on after a tragic event giving all of us strength and hope. Beliving that we will meet our loves in the next phrase. Thank You
written from the heart, it could never miss its point-to encourage. good work.
This made me cry...and i'm not lying! I saw this pinned up on my younger sister's wall in her room. May Allah bless whoever you lost and I believe they died as heroes. because they left their fabulous piece on earth (that's you) to carry on their legacy...you are a part of them, just like you said in this poem: 'Our lives are nothing but their memories and their art, Orbiting us each day, reminding us of who we are Where we stand and to whom we belong, ' In three short lines it defines the whole humanity and Allah's blessings for such beautiful life and parents! ! We wouldn't be anything we are now if it wasn't for our parents/grandparents/ancestors and their teachings. Your Grandfather would have been so proud of you for touching so many souls and giving them hope with your words! I'm sure he will Inshallah when you meet him in Jannah Insha'Allah... 10/10...
This one deserves to be on the top 500 poems of all time no doubt. 100/10 I vote this! ! every single line of this poem is flourishing and tingling the truth hidden inside us...you've got potential that needs to be cherished and well taken care of! ! it's very powerful than it could be!
This really made me stop and think.. It was something that I feel anyone could relate to and you said so much even without having to write too much. Another poem of yours that I enjoyed :) keep it up
What it lacks in a more traditional form, it makes up in heartfelt emotion. I am looking forward to more of your work,
all of us have regrets...for things said or actions made... wishing we could change the past... such is life...
