Reading your poem, brings a flood of memories of my childhood: I was a wild little child and there would always be a set of complaints against me. My father would punish me, but next day would be extra loving and kind to me, regretting that he had to punish. Many years removed, same thing with my son, and even today recalling some incidences I can't help but feel I over-reacted.

Parents correct us for our own good! But when young and impetuous, we are not able to take their correction and rebel against them! Later when we look back we realize that everything has been for our good! I see that you have calmed down with your prize won!
