Tears Of A Woman. Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

Tears Of A Woman.

.
My husband tells me to turn my back,
Just like my aunt told me he always has to have my back.
When am in red and I can't offer black,
Then he tells me I turn my back.
Choosing to remain straight
Is a straight way to my parents home.
And a stamp on his adulterous and polygamous heaven.
.
My husband tells me to turn my back.
This time his face is red hot,
That his children widened the passage,
And he can't feel me any more.
Where would they have passed?
He says he can enjoy it no more,
I have to turn my back.
.
So is my life now,
My husband tells me to turn my back.
He is tired of the hot spot.
He wants to try new stuff.
Submissive he says I must be,
Or else he will take his daily bread and love elsewhere.
Should I turn my back?
Should I remain straight and head home straight?
.
