Tears (Dicentra, The Bleeding Heart) Poem by john (called jack) wren

Tears (Dicentra, The Bleeding Heart)

You wake before the
Warming sky,
So dreamers cannot
Hear you cry.

And tears from
Your bleeding heart,
Make a pool of sorrow
For a lost sweetheart.

You always hide
Your aching thoughts,
In head bowed stance
That only distorts.

Your humble beauty
To the watchers eye,
That makes all lovers
Heave a sigh.
