Thank you sir for your poem that discusses a core issue. While there are many who believe that declining standards of education are a fact I do not think so. The teachers in the past too had a number of false coins among them and many good teachers got show cased in spite of the former being there. In these days, we believe everything has turned upside down. There are many teachers who refuse to be complacent with the mere sense of pulling through somehow and they stand out tall and high before many pupils and there is no concerted efforts made by us to locate them precisely. Many teachers are in fact struggling to establish themselves unlike before and the general impression of a society that 'past was good and present is not that good' is vehemently applied to all alike including the teachers` community. But sir, your apprehensions have to be respected with regard to the elements demoralising the youth and so I do appreciate your write as a note of caution.

A poem unveiling the sore picture of declining standards in education! It is time for us to introspect if you and I as teachers have been fully dedicated to our profession. No doubt teaching has deteriorated from an avowed vocation to a mere profession! A poem strong enough to shake modern teachers of their sense of self complascency! !
