Lovely, beautiful, exquisite and so on....your sincere admiration for the wonderful teacher and her student amazes me a lot Geeta....how lovingly you have compiled everything as a tribute! ! ....of course my admiration for the teacher and the student too....indeed an earnest work....thank you
Thank you so much dear Madam. I have great respect for teachers who have devoted their life for enriching the student's life with knowledge, which is true empowerment. The students who respect and love their teachers are a rarer find. Here is an example of a great teacher and a great student.
Let us all raise a toast to all of those teachers who, over the years and decades, have made us who we are, have moulded our personalities and filled our minds with knowledge and our hearts with the finer sentiments of life. We owe them so much. Thank you again, my friend, for having ‘immortalised’ my teacher – all teachers! – through your beautiful words. I am so grateful!

Zenobia Mistri was a truly unique soul; her devotion to her students over five decades was exemplary and, through her deep love for French language and culture, proved a true ambassador for France in India.
