Tea And Biscuits foxglove (Digitalis Purpurea) Poem by john (called jack) wren

Tea And Biscuits foxglove (Digitalis Purpurea)

Bees start laughing
when the Summer brings
many happy days for
those busy little wings.

They accept the request
from a stately flower
for tea and biscuits
at her homely bower.

Spending hour after hour
in her thimble sized room
whose decorated walls
simply made the swoon.

Most painted in purple
and a few in white
others with a primrose tint
that wets their appetite.

Then off they scatter
on their busy way
thanking the Foxglove
for a Bee--Witching day.
