Taste Of What? Poem by Gio Masserati

Taste Of What?

Was Wondering?
Like in the movie, Trolls
If we were tasty
What would ours be?

Saying, "Oh no! I am delicious"
Tasting purple, like a berry
Would you be a vegetable
Or a yummy, nummy fruit?

I think I'd want to be chocolatey
Coffee or both
Definitely mochaish
Sweet like a berry
Smooth like whip cream
I really think it'd be fun
If we could change scents
Every day...essence de ocean air
Without changing a thing
Just say it out loud
Or think it in the morning
Wake up and snap our fingers
Today, you taste like honey
Along will come parfumed
No additive, preservatives
Free of harmful chemicals
Just your body, taste and scent
Well a...you!

Think tomorrow I'll try it
Be a color too
A color, taste and scent
Like banana cream pie
...w graham cracker crust

Yes, silly, but true
If we could be different
Everyday, the combinations would be so fun
And then, maybe, ..
I'd color, fragrance and taste you...

Unless you choose veggies everyday!
