Then there's the food business. All about tastes..fashion...curiosity...poison...nectar...different tongues..different tastes...universal taste? ? One man's food... Cheers. Subroto

taste is never satisfied taste never needs to be curtailed too taste leads us to the truth... I actually did not get these lines. For a really hungry man, everything can be very delicious - even a cup of water. When taste can be taken as desire in the figurative sense, I don't think that it leads us to the ultimate spiritual truth. Taste is only a concept in relation to our body, mind and this material world. It has its own significance. I do not forget this aspect but if we do not try to moderate our tastes, it can be harmful also. Let us enjoy this life, no doubt but if we leave our tastes to the sole control of our senses, it can be disastrous both to ourselves towards the end of our life as well to the society in many ways. Our ancient rishis did not ask us to quit this material life but had only asked us to lead a well, disciplined life - Jeevema saratha satham, Srunuvama saratha satham etc....thanks.

There is a saying 'Opinions differ, tastes differ.' One man's food is another man's poison. So, taste has its own advantage and disadvantage. Well composed.

Taste satisfy the urge of hunger in a moment, a fleeting satisfaction is the taste of money or food. WE taste food or money because we need it for physical needs in order to survive but since it is not permanent a fleeting satisfaction and will soon crave more after few moments...Nice one! ! ! Thanks for this meaningful poem! ! !
