POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I visited Varanasi in the month of July 2015. Stayed there for three days. One day I witnessed Arti facing the Ganges and other day facing the Arti place. We sat that day on one of the floating boats anchored at the bank. There were hundreds of boats. On my adjacent boat there was a sweet Japanese girl. She was shining like a moon in the evening among Indians and was my inspiration for writing this poem.
