The wind had blown all night,
Now loud and raucous
Then as it hit the trees, an ugly and strident shrill.
I sat up in bed,
And felt hot, beads of sweat on my brow,
And shiftinggrains of fear in my heart.
I wonder why do I fear
Where from came that uncanny feeling?
Of what am I afraid?
Storms there had been before,
Many more would maraud in that hot and uncertain summer sky.
I am safe inside,
Yet I fear.
And I laugh at myself!
I crept up to the window and pull the curtains
And face the howling of the wind
The torture in the trees and bushes,
And figured myself caught in that fitful and relentless maelstrom.
And the fear eased.
I faced my fear,
I gave it a purpose
That is, I squared with the phantasm
beautiful encouragement- I am safe inside, Yet I fear. /// even in fear have to say to self I'm safe! Tame the fear within brave-heart fair // yeah
