Talking To A Kiss Poem by MONCIANA EDMONDSON

Talking To A Kiss

talking to a kiss with my eyes closed
talking to a kiss stolen or sold
talking to a kiss good hot or cold
first prize is gold
talking to a kiss load and bold

A ticket that is golden
in time we are frozen
the sunshine
does not seem to mind
my crime
toodles to my peace of mind
Each moment finds me grateful
for your truthful

the sound of this kiss
the answer to my wish
reckless
talking to my kiss with freckles
with my tongue, i have done no wrong
my hand tries to understand
so i try to conversate with the kiss
i don't wanna hear about your mama
i care naught for personal drama
just trying to understand this mouth
your smell, the taste of the kiss
just listen to the sound as two souls meet
the sound was so sweet.
i tried to talk to the kiss....

talking to a kiss
finding no blissful surrender
discovering the true gender of misery
who cares
the brave one that dares this conversation
or a cowardly foe
ignorance of romance
let me holler at this kiss
only a test, under no pretext permanent
can't pay the rent
so i negotiate my space
Man I can talk to a kiss......
