" Talisman provide us no magic, no fortune All grief and sadness they are" . Great conceptualization that is true too.10 points
Ah Grace. Your poem has great imagery and metaphor with a facade of soft edges. However, it evokes the deepest sadness in that the speaker desires to be the dead that blankets the person she loves. But, through the reading, one realizes that the dead have no control over how they cloak their loved ones. No talisman. Your poem is well written. I especially like the line, 'I would carry your burden with mine although weary.' I hope you are well. All the best to you.
