Take With Me Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Take With Me

Should I die in love and never loved
I shall be forgotten by the tears I weep
From my heart will remain the everlasting
Left alone to wait the darkest deep

She, the love of my ever lonely
Though she has far from noticed me
I can gather thoughts of my' only
To possess her as I need

Somehow these years living daydreams
They seem as they must be
Belonging to, and never knowing
For what she has not seen

And now the passing mortal body
He, as I agree
Love was mine though only mine
Foreseen, I take with me
