Being an Indian, I was drawn by the title......! Yes, it is one of the marvels of architecture.... I am sure you are impressed by it....! A monument of love... 'A tear drop in the cheek of eternity'... that's how Tagore.. the famous Indian poet has described it! Enjoyed this beautiful poem!
Yes the tear reference was an acknowledgement of Tagore's wonderful phrase. Is there a more beautiful building in the world? I think the pool capturing its reflection adds an even greater spiritual dimension.
