The darkness out side the curtained window; - -an image simple and effective and emotionally charged- -words are amazing, aren't they?

Very good usage of descriptive adjectives throughout the poem, as well as very well placed verb usages to captivate a visual effect of the emotion expressed. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
