It might not be Valentines but the sentiments are fresh as peppermints...I'll get my coat. But really Lovely work Mr. Lemon, it really does work on different levels, there is the innocuous aspect of a simple sweet, and there is the more tangible substance of a deep love, the succulent delight of feeling a loved once lips, sweet as Hershey's kisses. Ravishingly delightful.
A kiss described by a lovely poem in his own style, a different poem on the valentines day.
A lovely warm Valentines poem that makes one feel the person spoken of is loved very much.10+
Wonder if it was soury lemonade lips and sea salt toes....hahaha i break all your imagery into a horror movie hahaha ;)
Hi Soul...That does work. An entirely different script! Thanks so much for reading.
This was a kick to read, my frisky friend. I can read it from the viewpoint of a small boy with his treasured milkshake treat.... or from the viewpoint of a man and his favorite treasured journey. Ha! ! Twas fun to read and not at all a slap in the face of womanhood. I'm giving this a 10 because it is sheer fun to read! ! ! 10++++++++++++
Susan! Thanks so much. Yes, everything you said....and even a mother and infant...Thanks again.
This short poem combines the sweetness of a passionate kiss from a loved one and the gentleness of an angel like kiss by a child with sugary lips and tender toes. Beautiful!
Thank you so much, Valsa. Depending on the day, I find myself favouring one interpretation to the other. Thank you so much.
