Syringes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Syringes

Syringes

Come, bring syringes
Like me when teenager.

I know, was illegal
But I was quite young.

Ambitious, hard working
Student, and in need.

Too proud to ask, seek
Others help, for money.

Had to go to school
And follow the gang-rule.

Young people have expense
Beyond what is seen, said.

The movies and fashions
And the books and friends.

Had to work, earn, spend
So, I did injections…

Laboured in pharmacy
Every-day's evenings.

Shot IM and IVs
Also, did dressing.

Checked blood to assure
That was safe, secure.

Know syringe, medicine.

Come, bring syringes,
Pull blood of "Nation"
Replace it with "People."

Yes, I must replace "Faith"
With "Love and Freedom."

Have you heard the news?

"In trap was an elk."
"The Harris and Biden."
"Vaccine for Snowbirds."
"Fear of bombardment."

Come, bring syringes
As I did, when teenage.

They check the National guards
To make sure are good, sound.

Want to watch president
As he will inaugurate! ! !

Have they heard of Sadat?
He was killed by a gun…

Shot him a bodyguard! ! !
Shot him a bodyguard! ! !

Oh, bring syringes
In sizes and ranges.

Pull blood, throw out
The Proud-Boys' pride.

I have seen those like them
In, among the nations
That are fooled, brainwashed
With: "We are, such and such! "

Come, bring syringes,
Pull the thought of "Nation"
Inject "All for oneness."

Come, bring syringes
Pull blood of the "Faith"
Replace with "Freedom."

We must love and give care.
