The opening is wonderful because it leads us to the normal the uneventful every day routine in life and then you bring the fresh reminder that war is always there Debris is Mums' sad word for my bedroom this could mean the typical knick nacks found in a child's room but it subtly suggests the rubble of a bombed in house, and the falling world of normalcy that war destroys. and the child's mind to rearrange the chaos into their world view.
