Alas!
If hate were the love!
It would have been
Brilliantly pleasant
Funny and fantastic
To see
The whole world
In true love.
Alas!
If hate were the love!
The conflict
Would then mean
Intimate friendship
And all being-
The hell, a heaven
The devil, a divine
The evil, a virtue
The fool a wise man
The sinner a pious
The haughty a kind
The coward a brave
The hungry a contented
The thief a policeman
The poor a millionaire
The ugly a gorgeous
The servant a master
And the master
Would claim
Himself, to be the God.
Alas!
If hate were the love!
Believe
All good things
On the way
Living of the life
Would have been
Like a pair of feet
The back foot
With no shame
For lagging behind
And the front
With no pride
Topping the action
Both knowing
Cute well
The location
And status
Certainly
Wou'd change.
Alas!
If hate were the love!
It would have been
Brilliantly pleasant
Funny and fantastic
To see
The whole world
In true love.
