My heart leaps with joy
Whenever I meet you
And so does yours
I can tell...
Our hearts beat in harmony
The heartbeats making music
A gentle synchronised rhythm
That touches the soul...
And when you walk me to the corner
Our steps always rhyme
Because our lives are intertwined
And we are inseparable...
Like the ivy that grows
On the brick wall
Not clingy but happy
To be in close contact...
When you awake, I can sleep no longer
My eyes open as soon as you stir
And shut as you drift away
To the land of dreams...
It's not just that our lives are synchronised
We are but distant specks in the universe
No, you and me
Are part of a whole
And we have a right
To exist as one...
