Symbols Like Badges Of Respect Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Symbols Like Badges Of Respect

Lazily lounging in moments of mysterious magic, containing
some semblance of a pure and undefiled past, yesterday for-
ever being seen on photographic screens.

Tears of love and joy are sometimes seen so clearly, yet
never tiring of beautiful feelings that were shared and ex-
perienced in circles of family and friends.

Symbols of this part of life are held like badges of respect
for one another, never taken lightly in this world, watching
this splendor come out on occasions of togetherness.

Reminding one of all the times we were together during the
holidays and special occasions, all of them from the past
were special to all of us and our children.
