Sylvia And Erica.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

I used to read Sylvia,
but I became fed up
and started with Erica,

it seems these two poets
have become obsolete,
at least for me,
shy Sylvie,

but one thing remains the same:
the dearth
of the hearth
has become global fame,

my quote
you wrote:
a thing of beauty
is a passion for eternity

they have one thing in common:
their beauteous
is world famous,

the fragrance will ever linger
and sprinkle
the ripened seed
we all so need

sowing into eternity,
and keep its freshness
for perpetuality

since this is poetry
immortality....
