Swept Away (A Kiss From A Prince 2) Poem by Peter Strugnell

Swept Away (A Kiss From A Prince 2)

Everybody's searching and the days seem long,
the body fragile but, the spirit is so strong,
the troubled water's cold, and it has no feelings,
it doesn't care for, the lives of human beings.

The tide is rising, someone help me please,
the sand is shifting, I fall to my knees,
love & understanding, flue and éphémère,
I could live or die here, no one seems to care.

Feel the emotion, get through the day,
hold me now, we'll not be swept away,
take my soul, onto a higher plain,
and rise above, this hard hard rain.
