Sweet Tooth Poem by Tamara Turner

Sweet Tooth

I got a sweet tooth for this feeling.
I feel like I'm caught up in a whirlwind
Flying high I'm above the ceiling.
Spin me around late at night when we go dancing.
I don't know who should take the lead.
Sometimes I will give in other times I say let's just be friends.
Then with one text it all starts again.
We were once intertwined it was like we had telepathy.
We could finish each other's sentences and read each other's minds.
Oh my how the times have changed.
We were once lovers but as time on you stopped picking up your phone.
We both became estranged but now it's time to move on.
