Sweet Little Lies Again

Sweet Little Lies Again
--FreeBird

If I could just drift back in time,
Where all seemed real
Or might I misconceived
Sweet little lies.

They bring back to sweet smiles,
Till I wonder why,
Things are not the same.

We're they just sweet little lies.
Where I took your sweet, warm, glow
Hook line and sinker.
Things were like I never dreamed.

Each touch I wanted more.
But as the pages turned,
Feelings did not remain the same.

Oh, we're they just sweet lies,
Or did my flames get too easy
For you to spark
And return them
Once more?
