Hey Bob: Great poem! I like Butterflies because they are a thing of beauty. I bet many a poet has written about them, and rainbows and Humming birds. God bless all poets-MJG.

I believe it was last May that I looked out of the window of the room where I create poetry and saw a flock of beautiful yellow butterflies dancing in the sunlight. I will never forget it. This luminous poem reminds me of that day. Lovely... Warm regards, Sandra

What a blissful read Bob, like the bumblebees, the butterflies work tends to go unnoticed but without them nothing will grow. Great poem. Best wishes, Andrew

The beauty of the butterfly has been portrayed in many photos and paintings. You have painted such a wonderful picture in this poem of one of the most beautiful of God's creatures. Well done, my friend.....10.. Richard

Silent presence of butterflies shows the delicacy of the feelings. After reading this poem I can hear their silent song and flutter of their wings. A beautiful poem Bob...10/10.

The butterfly is one of my favourite themes. (My sonnet 'The Butterfly and the Lark' is posted on my page, in case you'd like to read it, time permitting) . Your poem brings out vividly how the butterfly, like the bee, also helps sow seeds, for them to grow into plants and bring forth, in time, a wondrous array of colourful flowers, some of which spread 'essence' also all around, reminding us of the 'essence' of nature. Well penned, and a Ten.

The greatness of poets is that they draw inspiration from unexpected sources and weave a web, a beautiful web around it, sometimes with irony, sometimes with allegory.. This is so sweet poem......

I am amazed at how well you have expressed the jorney of a butterfly. I love the words used, they create a lovely sense of harmony. I think if it was taught at school like this, kids might acturally listen.

Beautiful... this took me back to when hundreds of white butterflies joined us on a hike - it was like being surrounded by angels :)
